Why the Premier I Fits Baltimore

With 1,430 nautical miles of published range, it can fly between Baltimore and destinations such as Toronto, Chicago and Houston, allowing for reserves and routing. Baltimore winters bring snow and the occasional nor’easter, so in those months your advisor checks the forecast with the operator before each departure.

Jets in this class use BWI Marshall, about nine miles south of downtown, or Martin State Airport in Middle River, about ten miles east, which suits Towson and Hunt Valley. Runway needs are calculated by the operator for that day’s conditions, and we confirm them with the operator before the trip is booked.

How Baltimore Clients Use the Premier I

A light jet usually seats six to eight, many with a lavatory, which suits a business trip to Chicago or a family heading to Florida.

Share the route, how many are flying and how much they are bringing, and your advisor will say whether this type is the right fit or suggest one that is.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
