Carroll County Regional Airport (ICAO: KDMW, FAA LID: DMW) – located 38 miles NW of Baltimore in Westminster, MD, Carroll County Regional Airport is a general aviation airport and reliever for BWI. Also known as Jack B. Poage Field, it offers a single 5,100 foot runway suitable for light and midsize jets and an FBO operated by Skytech, Inc. Carroll County handles a lot of the area’s general aviation with more than 140 planes based on-site, although most aircraft based at DMW are single-engine and less than 5% are private jets.
