Baltimore Private Jet In-Flight Catering

Baltimore Jet Charter can arrange in-flight catering for clients flying out of Baltimore, from coffee and a light breakfast on an early departure to a full meal on a longer trip west or across the Atlantic.

How catering is arranged

We arrange specialty in-flight catering as an add-on at an additional fee. Selections are tailored to client preferences and confirmed before departure.

What can be served depends on the aircraft. Larger cabins usually have more galley space for heating and plating a meal, while some smaller aircraft have very little. Your advisor will tell you what the aircraft on your trip can handle before the order is placed.

Allergies and dietary needs

Tell us about any food allergies, kosher or other religious requirements, vegan or low-carb preferences, and meals for children when you book. These need to be part of the order from the start, and the caterer needs time to prepare them properly.

A taste of Maryland

Some clients like to take a little of Baltimore with them, such as Maryland crab cakes for the flight home. If you would like food from a particular Baltimore restaurant or caterer, tell us when you book, and we will check whether it can be prepared and delivered in time for your departure. More notice gives us more options.

Bringing your own

Some clients prefer to bring their own food. That is usually simple on a domestic trip, and your advisor will let the operator know. On an international flight, the destination’s customs rules may limit what can be brought in, so tell us what you plan to carry. To compare cabin sizes before you book, see our passenger aircraft pages.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.

Baltimore-Specific Patterns We Plan Around

BWI Marshall is about nine miles south of downtown Baltimore, owned by the State of Maryland and operated by the Maryland Aviation Administration, and Martin State Airport in Middle River, about ten miles east of downtown, suits Towson and Hunt Valley. There is no jet airport in Annapolis, so jet trips for Annapolis and the Naval Academy usually use BWI, about 17 miles away. Easton Airport serves St. Michaels and Oxford while Salisbury serves Ocean City. Baltimore winters can bring snow and the occasional nor’easter, summer brings afternoon thunderstorms, and the Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st to November 30th. Late May, with the Preakness and the Naval Academy’s Commissioning Week, the holidays and summer weekends on the Eastern Shore book up first, so tell us your dates early.
