Baltimore Jet Charter arranges wedding, honeymoon and anniversary flights for couples and their guests in Baltimore, Annapolis and on the Eastern Shore, and for Maryland couples flying away to celebrate. Congratulations on this exciting chapter!
Weddings in Annapolis and on the Eastern Shore
Annapolis and the Eastern Shore towns of St. Michaels, Easton and Oxford are beautiful places to get married. Guests flying in for an Annapolis wedding land at BWI, and Easton Airport is the closer field for the Eastern Shore towns. If you provide us with the venue’s town, we will find the airport nearest to it, and we can help you arrange ground transportation through a third-party provider from there. If your date falls near the Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show, April 23rd-25th, 2027, or Commissioning Week in late May, call us early, because those weeks are busy in Annapolis.
Flying in the wedding party and guests
When family and friends are coming from the same city, one aircraft can bring them in together. For a larger party, we can arrange more than one aircraft, timed to arrive close together. Give us the headcount and the bags early, including the dress and any garment bags, so we can size the aircraft properly.
Honeymoons
From BWI, a light jet covers Florida and the Bahamas. Turks and Caicos, St. Maarten and the rest of the Caribbean suit a midsize jet or larger, and Europe calls for a long-range jet; Paris is about 3,305 nautical miles away. Landing permits and authorizations are generally applied for after a trip has been secured on the aircraft schedule. On an international trip, your advisor and the operator plan where the aircraft clears customs. We arrange specialty in-flight catering as an add-on at an additional fee. Selections are tailored to client preferences and confirmed before departure.
Anniversaries
Nantucket is about 330 nautical miles from BWI and Bermuda about 710, and both are within reach of a light jet or larger. If the trip is a surprise, tell your advisor when you first call, and we will handle it that way from the start. Our light jets page shows the aircraft that suit an anniversary weekend.
Vetting Behind Every Trip
Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:
- FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
- Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
- Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
- Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.
Baltimore-Specific Patterns We Plan Around
BWI Marshall is about nine miles south of downtown Baltimore, owned by the State of Maryland and operated by the Maryland Aviation Administration, and Martin State Airport in Middle River, about ten miles east of downtown, suits Towson and Hunt Valley. There is no jet airport in Annapolis, so jet trips for Annapolis and the Naval Academy usually use BWI, about 17 miles away. Easton Airport serves St. Michaels and Oxford while Salisbury serves Ocean City. Baltimore winters can bring snow and the occasional nor’easter, summer brings afternoon thunderstorms, and the Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st to November 30th. Late May, with the Preakness and the Naval Academy’s Commissioning Week, the holidays and summer weekends on the Eastern Shore book up first, so tell us your dates early.
