Baltimore Celebrity & VIP Jet Charter

Baltimore Jet Charter arranges private flights in and out of Baltimore for public figures, performers and senior executives, and for the agencies, managers and tour staff who book their travel.

Privacy from the first call

If the trip is confidential and requires extra discretion, tell your advisor when you first call, and we will handle it that way from the start. We only share passenger names and itineraries with the operator and the crew assigned to the flight.

Tours and appearances

A tour that plays CFG Bank Arena one night may need to be in another city the next morning. We can plan a run of flights across several dates and cities, with the aircraft and crew staying with the tour where the schedule calls for it.

Crews have rest limits, so a show that ends late followed by an early call the next day needs planning with your advisor before the dates are set. Stage equipment and merchandise that will not fit in the baggage hold can travel on a separate cargo flight.

The size of the traveling party

The principal is rarely traveling alone. Management, assistants, stylists and security staff fill seats as well, and their luggage takes up room too. Give us the full headcount at the start, so your advisor can choose an aircraft that fits everyone and everything they are bringing.

Security and the ground

We can help you arrange ground transportation through a third-party provider at both ends, and your security detail can plan around the confirmed flight times. Our bodyguard and armored transport page covers that side in more detail.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.

Baltimore-Specific Patterns We Plan Around

BWI Marshall is about nine miles south of downtown Baltimore, owned by the State of Maryland and operated by the Maryland Aviation Administration, and Martin State Airport in Middle River, about ten miles east of downtown, suits Towson and Hunt Valley. There is no jet airport in Annapolis, so jet trips for Annapolis and the Naval Academy usually use BWI, about 17 miles away. Easton Airport serves St. Michaels and Oxford while Salisbury serves Ocean City. Baltimore winters can bring snow and the occasional nor’easter, summer brings afternoon thunderstorms, and the Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st to November 30th. Late May, with the Preakness and the Naval Academy’s Commissioning Week, the holidays and summer weekends on the Eastern Shore book up first, so tell us your dates early.
