Baltimore Music Festival & Concert Jet Charter

Baltimore Jet Charter arranges private flights for musicians, touring crews and music fans traveling to and from Baltimore, whether the trip is a single concert or several weeks of tour dates.

Flights between tour dates

A tour moves from city to city on a schedule that airline timetables rarely match. On a charter, the band and the crew leave together after the show, at the time you choose. If the tour includes an arena date in Baltimore, such as a show at CFG Bank Arena downtown, we plan the arrival and the departure around the load-in and the end of the night.

Let us know the planned departure time when you book. A departure after midnight affects how the operator schedules the crew, so it needs to be settled early.

Instruments and stage equipment

Guitars, keyboards, road cases and wardrobe take up a lot of space, and a few large cases can rule out an aircraft, even if it has enough seats. Send us a list of what is traveling, with rough sizes and weights, together with the passenger count. If the stage production is too large for a passenger aircraft, we can arrange a separate cargo flight for it.

Fans heading to a festival

For fans flying out of Baltimore to a festival weekend, the aim is to land as close to the festival grounds as possible. Send us the name and location of the festival, and we will look for the airport nearest to it. We can also help you arrange ground transportation through a third-party provider for the drive from the airport to the gates.

Popular festival weekends book up quickly. We do not give firm quotes too far in advance, because aircraft availability shifts, but call early and we will tell you when it makes sense to lock it in.

Privacy for artists and their teams

If the trip is confidential and requires extra discretion, tell your advisor when you first call, and we will handle it that way from the start. We only share passenger names and itineraries with the operator and the crew assigned to the flight. If the artist travels with personal security, we can also help with security staff and armored ground transportation.

Vetting Behind Every Trip

Every operator, aircraft, and crew goes through our internal due diligence before we present any options. Our internal standards meet or exceed what the FAA requires:

  • FAR Part 135 charter operators for traditional private aircraft, or FAR Part 121 for airliner-size and group trips (or the foreign equivalent on international legs)
  • Operator subscription to Wyvern and ARGUS reviewed where the operator participates.
  • Pilot experience and operator incident history reviewed before we recommend an aircraft.
  • Fewer than 60 brokers worldwide hold Premium Wyvern Broker Member status, and Air Charter Advisors is one of them.

Baltimore-Specific Patterns We Plan Around

BWI Marshall is about nine miles south of downtown Baltimore, owned by the State of Maryland and operated by the Maryland Aviation Administration, and Martin State Airport in Middle River, about ten miles east of downtown, suits Towson and Hunt Valley. There is no jet airport in Annapolis, so jet trips for Annapolis and the Naval Academy usually use BWI, about 17 miles away. Easton Airport serves St. Michaels and Oxford while Salisbury serves Ocean City. Baltimore winters can bring snow and the occasional nor’easter, summer brings afternoon thunderstorms, and the Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st to November 30th. Late May, with the Preakness and the Naval Academy’s Commissioning Week, the holidays and summer weekends on the Eastern Shore book up first, so tell us your dates early.
